I met Becky on the 80s Cruise and read her book. Such a descriptive writer. She takes you right back to the ‘80s, all the movies, the TV shows, and especially the music; what kind of values we had, the technology (and social media) we had then as compared to now. Back then, we took a picture of us doing something stupid; nobody saw it, but two of our friends. Get this book. It really takes you back in time, it takes you back to your youth. Also, get it for your kids or someone who didn’t live through the ‘80s, because it’s a great descriptive book about what the '80s were like.

This book is Great! It is a MUST read for any Gen Xer. I ordered the book through KickStarter, and I'm so glad I did because Becky really knocked it out of the park. I had so much fun reading this book. I took my time with it and really let each chapter soak in. I did the assignments and "After School Specials" and listened to all the playlists. The playlists are the perfect touch, and some of the songs I'd forgotten about, so it was really fun revisiting those songs. This book just resonates so much and really takes you back in time. I especially loved the handwritten notes between friends that were included in this book. It made me wish I had saved mine. Every Gen Xer needs to read this book, and the other generations will probably understand us better if they read it too. This is definitely a book that will get re-read over and over throughout the years. It's one of those books that with each read, you'll get so much more out of it than you did the time before. I'm looking forward to Becky's next books in her Invincible 80s series.
